ICC Champions Trophy 2013 Schedule :- Full Fixture

Champions Trophy 2013 is in full swing to start from 6th June 2013 in England according to the cricket schedule declared. The ICC Champions Trophy is the international tournament hosted by England. The tournament will include 15 one day internationals in England. The tournament will be played from June 6th to June 23rd 2013. There are a total of 8 teams performing in the tournament. The squads are divided into 2 groups- A and B. While Group A has teams like England, Australia, Sri Lanka and New Zealand, Team B comprises of South Africa, West Indies, India and Pakistan. The Champions Trophy tournament 2013 is indeed the part of Future Cricket Tour Programs by International Cricket Council. Being the hosts, England is all set to take on the tournament. The first ODI will be played between India and South Africa on 6^th June at 10:30 local time at the Sophia Gardens in Cardiff. Let’s see who wins the opening match.

Ottis Gibson from West Indies reported that they arrive on England soil for the trophy with full confidence as they have the reputation of winning the World T20 the previous year. Winners of the ICC Champions Trophy 2013 will get $2 million as prize money.
In fact, this will be the last and final ICC Champions Trophy because it will now be replaced by ICC World Test Championship 2017. Indian team has been placed in the Group B with West Indies, Pakistan and South Africa.
The top two countries will qualify for semi finals that will be played on 19^th and 20^th June. The final match will be between the winners of the semi finals on 23^rd June, Sunday in Birmingham. It will be exciting to watch the interesting tournament between the 8 countries from all across the globe.
